Lacamas Creek Station
Lacamas Creek Station is envisioned as the primary gateway to the Toledo region for visitors arriving via I-5. Located near the highway interchange, the site will serve as a rustic, Northwest-style visitor plaza featuring timber-frame construction, open-air gathering spaces, and parking for day travelers.
The site will also feature a small horse arena for 4-H activities, equestrian demonstrations, and rural event programming—celebrating the community’s agricultural traditions in a family-friendly environment.
The station will include a welcome center, local café, artisan market pavilion, and a small amphitheater or event space. It will be a natural launching point for exploring the region’s history, recreation, and agritourism offerings, including Wallace Pond, Old Town Toledo, and the Steamboat Theater.
With coordinated signage, landscaping, and branding, Lacamas Creek Station will help define a sense of arrival while supporting rural economic development through tourism and hospitality services.
