Who We Are

Greater Toledo Heritage and Horizons (GTHH) is a nonprofit formed to strengthen the cultural, historical, and economic future of Toledo and the surrounding rural region. We work in partnership with residents, landowners, and local agencies to develop practical, community-based solutions that honor our culture and heritage while preparing for the next generation.

A Thoughtful Approach to Local Revitalization

We don’t chase growth for its own sake. Instead, GTHH identifies opportunities that align with the values and identity of the Toledo area. Each of our projects is grounded in historical character, economic benefit for locals, and long-term public value.

  • Acquiring and preserving significant public spaces
  • Revitalizing historic town centers
  • Supporting rural-scale economic infrastructure
  • Partnering with residents, not just planning for them

Your Support Makes It Possible

GTHH is a Washington State nonprofit (Charity Reg. #2011720) with 501(c)(3) status pending IRS approval. We’re fully donor-supported and every dollar helps build capacity—from acquiring land and developing plans to running our local office and advancing funding efforts.
