Steamboat Theater at Wallace Pond

The Steamboat Theater is a uniquely envisioned performance venue and community gathering space inspired by the historic steamboat Toledo. It will host concerts, cultural events, and historical presentations while evoking the spirit of Toledo’s riverfront legacy.

Venue Design & Features

The lower deck features a main stage with flexible lighting and sound, flanked by performer changing rooms and storage to support plays, concerts, and community programs. Above, the upper deck will house a Steamboat Era Museum that invites visitors aboard: replica staterooms, the pilot house, and interpretive exhibits will be fitted with historical memorabilia to tell the story of inland riverboats and the communities they connected.

  • Outdoor setting at Wallace Pond with adjacent kiosk area for recreation and visitor services.
