Lacamas Creek Industrial Park

Located east of I-5 and adjacent to the proposed Lacamas Creek Station, this site is intended for a modern light industrial park designed to support clean, rural-compatible industries. It will provide affordable space for small manufacturers, agri-tech startups, electronics assembly, and drone technology firms.

The layout will feature single-story buildings with flexible interior spaces and shared support infrastructure. Priority will be given to businesses that align with the rural economy, including value-added agriculture, specialty food production, and emerging tech industries compatible with low-impact design.

To further support local workforce development, the park will include space for small vocational training centers and rural business incubators. These facilities will offer hands-on instruction in trades, manufacturing, and entrepreneurship, preparing residents for careers rooted in the local economy.

This project supports regional job creation and workforce retention while minimizing commuting needs and environmental impact. It aligns with county planning goals for clustered employment centers and represents a new model for rural industrial development.
